About
The Home and School Association coordinates events and programs to help enrich our families' academic, social and spiritual experience with our school.

At Holy Apostles School, we are blessed to have wonderful support from our parish, teachers and parents. We have a very active and dedicated parent-run Home and School Association that coordinates a variety of events and programs to help enrich your family’s academic, social and spiritual experience with our school community.
The primary purpose of the Holy Apostles Home and School Association is to:
• Support the educational and spiritual mission of our school,
• Provide well-planned programs/activities for our parents and students, and
• Conduct fundraising efforts to provide enriching experiences for all of those in our school community
Specifically, what does the Home and School Association do?
• Plans student activities, such as High Interest Day, as well as family events, such as Birthday Table, Share Our Faith Day, Back to School Dance, Catholic Schools Week Family Dinner, family movie nights, and the Welcome Picnic for new families
• Hosts parent activities, including Adult Socials and the Chicago Holiday Shopping Trip
• Coordinates teacher appreciation and recognition activities, such as Teacher Appreciation Week events and teacher luncheons
• Coordinates school volunteers, including Room Parents and Family Friendly Ambassadors
• Runs fundraising programs, including our new Charger Chase, SCRIP and Box Tops for Education
• Organizes Spirit Wear sales and the uniform resale
• Funds special needs and programs for the school, based on requests from the principal and teachers, including curriculum enriching programs, special projects and equipment
Getting Involved!
The Home and School Association is 100 percent parent volunteer-run. Our many volunteers graciously give of their time and talents to help transform our school … It truly does take a village! Getting involved is a wonderful opportunity to make a difference for your child, meet other families and immerse yourself in our community.
We invite and encourage you to join us in any capacity you can—whether its helping as your schedule allows during the day, with a one-time event after school hours, or joining a committee.
